18 meetings... yep, that's it!  For now.  Who knows.

A summary of the meeting:

Plans: 

A. projects

1a. writing graffiti:

 - using short poems and flash fiction

- make it noticeable; write on objects-- balloons, articles of clothing, pictures, large sheets of paper

2a. writing contest

- advertise in: February 

- submissions in March

-Deadline at end of March

- Winner is announced in April

-posters designed by Vinny 

- writing scale (a tool to judge applicants) designed by Desiree

- afternoon announcements

- tell english teachers to spread the word

Theme idea: change

Criteria: none-- except that the piece must be polished and NOT fanfiction; grammatical errors and fanfiction style WILL detract from writing

Also, must limit size to three pages, MAX

B. Workshopping

- bring it in ready to workshop

- no more than a page

Hey guys! This is another way we can stay in touch.  Unfortunately, I'm the only one who can post :/ 
HOWEVER, we can work around that. If you want to make an announcement, send it to me on gmail, and I'll copy and paste it onto the blog.

With this blog, we can communicate times and dates and comment on each other's writing.  As for editing stuff, we can also share things on a google drive folder or pen-drive.
